In short -

Hailing from a little-known beach town in Central Queensland, we are forever seeking our next adventure. Can be found at the beach with our cattle dog in tow or relaxing around a campfire.
With a free-spirited eye for photography and wit for spinning a paragraph mixed with off-road wanderlust set us up to be a creative duo.

The longer version -

In August 2017 an off-road adventure to Cape York found us knee deep on red dirt roads contrasting the blue waters, remote living and simple life. It was all we dreamed it up to be! We returned after 3 weeks with an even bigger fire in our belly for adventure!!

So... we created @shutteranddust

Our goal is to share our quirky adventures and make mates with the like-minded! Writing & sharing our articles with you as we discover Australia

Our first camping trip was in a small dome tent in our local National Park. We didn't have a 4wd and not very much gear at all. It was my (Grace's) birthday, 8 years ago & to sit by the campfire, under the stars was all I wanted

Thank heavens for that trip!!

We now have a kitted out 76 Landcruiser that's ready to go off-road at the drop of a hat. We've upgraded from our dome tent to a Roof Top Tent & have already been to so many amazing places!!

Of course we have an extensive "dream destinations" list for Australia & we will make them happen

We both work & escape the everyday at any chance that we get
